It is not a private-jet charter.

Question 7

Is Pet Jet Travel an airline or Iberia cargo agent?

Accepted Answer

Pet Jet Travel is not an airline, not a General Agent, and not an airline ticket office. It does not operate aircraft. Tickets are sold on behalf of the operating carrier after pet acceptance rules are checked. Pet Jet Travel is not Iberia’s cargo desk or an IAG Cargo agent. Where cabin or passenger-hold travel is not allowed, customers can request a manifested live-animal cargo route through Pet Jet Travel operations.

Question 8

Is Pet Jet Travel an IATA travel agent?

Accepted Answer

Pet Jet Travel S.L. is an IATA-accredited passenger sales agent. Air tickets are sold on behalf of the operating carrier, at that carrier's published tariffs, conditions of carriage and written instructions. Pet Jet Travel is not an airline, not a General Agent, and not an airline ticket office.

Question 9

What pet journeys can I book?

Accepted Answer

Cabin pet (IATA SSR PETC) — small dog or cat in an approved carrier under the seat, when the airline accepts it. Hold pet (IATA SSR AVIH) — pet in the aircraft hold as checked live animal, when the airline accepts it. Recognised assistance dog (IATA SSR SVAN) — disability service dog at the passenger’s feet after the airline checks the training certificate. Emotional support animals are not assistance dogs. Manifested cargo live-animal request — only when government or airline rules block cabin and passenger-hold booking.

Question 10

How does booking work?

Accepted Answer

Search origin, destination, dates, and pet details (species, breed, weight, carrier size unless it is an assistance dog). The eligibility engine checks published airline and country rules before payment. Unclear data returns NEEDS REVIEW — we do not guess. Live search uses airline inventory, then keeps only carriers that publish cabin-pet (PETC) rules Pet Jet Travel can sell. Select appears on the date you searched when weight, carrier, country rules and advance notice fit. Hold (AVIH) is not sold as self-serve. Request the booking. Cabin PETC is confirmed with the airline. The passenger ticket is then issued on behalf of the carrier at the published fare, and the Stripe card hold is captured. Assistance-dog (SVAN) requests wait for the airline desk; then only the PJT service fee is charged. Documents (EU pet passport or AHC, microchip, rabies) and crate rules still apply as published by the airline and destination country.

Question 11

Does Pet Jet Travel show live pet-in-cabin flights?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Search uses live airline inventory, then keeps only airlines that publish cabin-pet (PETC) rules Pet Jet Travel can sell on the website. Select appears when the pet, carrier, route and airline policy fit the date you searched — both directions when the airline operates them. Cabin fees follow each airline’s published table for that route. Hold (AVIH) is not sold as self-serve.
