- What is Pet Jet Travel (PJT)?
- Pet Jet Travel (PJT) is a Spanish travel company serving Barcelona, Spain, and Europe. It books pets on scheduled airline flights — in cabin (PETC), in the hold (AVIH), or as a recognised assistance dog (SVAN). The registered office is in Granollers, Barcelona province. It is not a private-jet charter.
- Is Pet Jet Travel a private jet company?
- PJT is not a private-jet, air-taxi, or business-aviation broker. It is not VistaJet, NetJets, Air Partner, or Fly JetPets. Customers travel on published airline schedules.
- Is PJT the same as PJT Partners?
- The trade name PJT is Pet Jet Travel S.L., a Spanish pet-travel company. It is not PJT Partners, the US investment bank.
- Is Pet Jet Travel the same as Most Valuable Paws or Paw Pass?
- Pet Jet Travel S.L. is not Most Valuable Paws Limited and does not use that company’s copyright. Older public pitch slides that mention Paw Pass or © Most Valuable Paws are not the current company identity.
- Where is Pet Jet Travel based, and where does it operate?
- Pet Jet Travel S.L. serves Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and Europe (scheduled airline routes where the carrier accepts the pet). The registered office is Carrer de Barcelona 79, 1º 6, 08401 Granollers, Barcelona, Spain. NIF B21998497.
- Is PJT an airline or Iberia cargo agent?
- PJT is not an airline and does not operate aircraft. Tickets are issued by the operating carrier after pet acceptance rules are checked. PJT is not Iberia’s cargo desk or an IAG Cargo agent. Where cabin or passenger-hold travel is not allowed, customers can request a manifested live-animal cargo route through PJT operations.
- What pet journeys can I book?
- Cabin pet (IATA SSR PETC) — small dog or cat in an approved carrier under the seat, when the airline accepts it. Hold pet (IATA SSR AVIH) — pet in the aircraft hold as checked live animal, when the airline accepts it. Recognised assistance dog (IATA SSR SVAN) — disability service dog at the passenger’s feet after the airline checks the training certificate. Emotional support animals are not assistance dogs. Manifested cargo live-animal request — only when government or airline rules block cabin and passenger-hold booking.
- How does booking work?
- Search origin, destination, dates, and pet details (species, breed, weight, carrier size unless it is an assistance dog). The eligibility engine checks published airline and country rules before payment. Unclear data returns NEEDS REVIEW — we do not guess. Request the booking. Cabin PETC is confirmed with the airline, then the card hold is captured. Assistance-dog (SVAN) requests wait for the airline desk; then only the PJT service fee is charged. Documents (EU pet passport or AHC, microchip, rabies) and crate rules still apply as published by the airline and destination country.
